Cookie policy
Which cookies and similar technologies this website uses, and how to manage them.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This cookie policy describes what cookies and similar technologies Zortex uses in connection with the website and the publishing studio, and how you can manage them. It does not cover how personal information is handled outside cookies; see the Privacy policy for that.
Types of cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They can remember details of your visit, such as whether you are signed in. Similar technologies include local storage, which keeps values in your browser without sending them to a server. This website uses the following categories.
Necessary cookies
One cookie, zortex_session, is set only after an editor signs in to the studio. It identifies the signed-in session, is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and expires after eight hours or on sign-out. A short-lived zortex_login cookie protects the sign-in form against forgery and is removed once you are signed in. Readers who never sign in receive no cookies at all. These cookies cannot be switched off because the studio does not work without them.
Analytics cookies
None. This website does not use analytics cookies or any measurement service.
Marketing performance cookies
None. This website does not use advertising or marketing cookies and does not load third-party trackers.
Managing cookies
The Manage cookies control in the footer opens your cookie preferences. Because no optional cookies exist, the analytics and marketing switches are informational and remain off; your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so will sign you out of the studio.
Additional information
Theme and display preferences are kept in local storage rather than cookies and are never transmitted. Questions about this policy can be sent through the About page.
